This pivotal role is central to the VigyanShaala ecosystem. We seek dedicated, driven individuals who are eager to create an impact or contribute to the community. A non-negotiable commitment of at least 1 year is required.
Our Mentor model mirrors the ‘Tutor’ concept at top universities like the University of Cambridge. We’re here to support you as a Mentor, making the endeavor fulfilling and less daunting. What seems trivial to you can be ‘Gold’ to your mentees. If you’re unsure, please feel free to contact us.
Mentoring encompasses diverse aspects: from enhancing computer skills like Excel, monitoring academic progress, and guiding mentees with their projects, summer internships (even within your workplace), to co-developing experiments in VS labs.
This entails approximately 3-4 hours per week, involving training sessions, and conducting at least one workshop with a mentee in a school, college, or marketplace.
For those affiliated with DST/DAE/DBT institutes, we’re exploring the possibility of offering mentoring as an accredited curriculum. Feel free to contact us to explore this avenue.
